The Foodist Studio is a spacious 2,400 sq ft naturally lit creative space located in the charming West Side neighborhood of St. Paul, ideal for photography, videography, meetings, and small events. Whether you're hosting a photoshoot, video production, corporate meeting, or an intimate event, our studio offers the perfect backdrop. Designed by creatives, for creatives, the studio features a welcoming lounge area, multiple functional workspaces, a fully-equipped kitchen, a private office, and a restroom. Our extensive inventory includes photography equipment, video gear, various backdrops, and a curated collection of food and lifestyle props, making it an all-in-one solution for professional shoots, content creation, or workshops. The versatile layout makes it ideal for hosting product photography, food styling shoots, film productions, corporate off-site meetings, or even small social gatherings. Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
- Capacity is limited based on governmental guidelines

Steve is a fantastic and helpful host, the space is great and worked well for 25 folks having a thanksgiving dinner and cooking the meal!

Our group had an excellent experience with Steve and the Kitchen Studio space! The space was exactly as pictured and set up with all add-ons booked. The excellent listing photos helped our team plan our event flow/set up ahead of time so things ran smoothly the day of. Steve was available on site to answer questions and help with the Bluetooth connection for our AV presentation, but was not in the rental area during our event otherwise which was the perfect balance. Steve was very communicative leading up to our rental period and all policies/processes were clear and easy to follow. We did not need to use the cooking equipment during our event, and the kitchen island and counter top were perfect for the catering trays we brought in. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

The studio is laid out very well, with working islands and plenty of space for people to move about and take part in the activities. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment (pots, pans, etc.) as well as cooking utensils. Flatware, place settings, and cups/glasses are also available, but in limited matching quantities. It was no problem for our event, which was casual and fun. We did not mind having different colors, patterns, or styles. And there was plenty of inventory to handle 16 people. If you wanted a more formal setting, you may consider bringing your own dishware. There is ample parking. The team at the Studio was great to work with and was very attentive to questions/needs during our event. I would absolutely rent this space again for a future event!

Kitchen studio photography shoot with client on set went so well! I'm always a bit nervous in a new space but the Foodist Films team was so welcoming to our crew. They helped us set up the lounge as a client viewing area and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely book again. Highly recommended as the best kitchen studio in St. Paul!

Lovely event space with beautiful natural light and my DREAM kitchen. The kitchen was super easy to navigate and the dinning area, bar area, and lounge made for a great event.

Hosted a cooking class in this space and had a very nice time. As a chef, I have high standards of mise en place and had no troubles working in this kitchen. Everything is very well organized. There is a lounge space where guests were able to enjoy cocktails while I prepped. When it was time for demonstration portion of the evening. There was plenty of room for all 30 guests to sit at their dinning tables comfortably and still be able to see the demonstration happening on the rolling kitchen island. Thank you, Foodist Films!
