Cute Retro Vintage 70's Art House & Japanese Garden: Bohemian Furnishings, Bonsais, and Water features

Step into an otherworldly zen garden with twisting Bonsai, majestic Maples, and moss-covered stone lanterns. Walk down paths shrouded in baby tear and clover to the omnipresent sound of trickling water from the bamboo fountain. If you'd like to capture photos or shoot scenes in a transportive, lush, one-of-a-kind outdoor space, look no further! Furthermore, buried within the garden is a colorful, charming, bohemian pad combining mid-century modern and artistic beach house. A cute, retro house first built in the 30's, which feels outside of time. Within its baby blue walls, surrounded by orange cushions, records, books, and artworks, you could be in a 70s daydream. This location features three primary zones, a front and back garden and the main house, which accounts for the BASE RATE of $100, and the MAIN HOUSE available to use for an ADDED $60/hr rate. The zen gardens offer a variety of areas to choose from when shooting. The front garden is bisected by a beautiful stone stepping path, flanked by a small pond on one side and a hand built Gazebo on the other. Amongst these focal points are a number of bonsai's, maples, red buds, and lanterns. The front yard is densely packed and the attention to detail in the landscaping adds a lot of dimension to any photos. The front garden is 924 sq ft. A sides alleys on either side leads to the back garden, a magical, winding, oasis. This area contains several focal points: a Japanese rock garden, a sweeping dry river, two unique stepping paths, a jasmine covered arbor, a lotus pot bamboo fountain, and a few picturesque seating areas. The nuance and composition of the back space adds a lot of depth to any photos. The back garden is 1,144 sq ft. By day the garden is a transportive, captivating space to shoot in, but by NIGHT it takes on another magical element as hanging lanterns bathe the landscape in yellow and green eldritch light. Nighttime shoots here are great for those wanting to introduce an element of whimsy and mystery into their shoot. BLOOM SEASONS: there are different flowering seasons throughout the garden. LATE WINTER and early SPRINGTIME is one of the most profuse, with cherry blossoms, redbuds, magnolias, azaleas, late camellias, flowering Plum and Apricot, and later on Wisteria in April/May blooms. SUMMERTIME brings some more azaleas, pittosporums, and alternatives such as Japanese Snowbell, as well as Japanese Maples being in full leaf. FALL brings the turning of the maple leaves, providing showy flashes of orange, yellow, and red, as well as the the turning elms, cherry trees, and more... WINTER is an abundance of Camellia blooms. This is truly a unique space to shoot in, with a lot of time, energy, and love put into making it what it is.
