Additional cleaning fees may apply if additional cleaning is required, based on usage. ★ DRUGS & ALCOHOL Alcohol is OK but a NYC permit is required for any sales. Responsible, adult alcohol consumption is expected and required. Drug use of any kind, including cannabis, is not permitted nor tolerated. ★ EQUIPMENT RENTAL We can fill requests for commonly needed items such as folding tables, folding chairs, tablecloths, ladders, coolers, etc. Let us know what you need! ★ INSURANCE We require a Certificate of Insurance on a standard Acord form with the following information: • General liability in the amount of $1,000,000.00, each occurrence. • Description Section states “Certificate Holder is included as additional insured.” • Certificate Holder box states: Brooklyn Grain, LLC / 1166 Manhattan Avenue, #302 / Brooklyn, NY 11222 If you don't carry insurance we are happy to help you easily obtain short-term coverage, it costs approximately $100. Just let us know if we can help. ★ SECURITY DEPOSIT A $500 security deposit is required, via PayPal. The deposit will be returned within three business days minus any assessed additional cleaning charges or damages. ★ OCCUPANCY Maximum occupancy is 25. ★ SOUND LIMIT Out of respect for the neighbors in our building, the space has a volume limit & live performance of any kind is not permitted. Music must be kept under a conversational level. ★ CHECK IN/OUT Be sure to book enough time to accommodate your event in the door to out the door including load-in, set-up and load-out. Please do not arrive early and do not expect to stay beyond your booked time. On arrival a studio representative will show you into the space and ensure you have everything you need. Our offices are onsite and we are staffed for the duration of your event to support any need or address any issue that may arise. At the conclusion of your event a studio representative will conduct a walk-thru with you to assess any additional charges for cleaning, overtime or damage.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR STUDIOS Studio floors, fabrics, surfaces, and touch points are cleaned and disinfected before every shoot. Hand sanitizer is supplied in each studio. We have newly renovated, private restrooms that are exclusive to Brooklyn Grain and not shared with other building tenants. They are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily. All studios have independent HVAC systems and air is not circulated between studios. All studios have abundant windows that can be opened for ventilation if desired. Every effort will be made to ensure building doors are open from the street to minimize surface contact on arrival. We have a no-contact thermometer available if you wish to utilize it for your team. SAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR EQUIPMENT All reserved equipment orders as well as bags, cases and production supplies are handled with gloves and disinfected at last touch when loading them into your studio. All equipment, cases, bags and production supplies are disinfected upon return. Additional equipment requested during your shoot will be handled with gloves and disinfected prior to release. Allow additional time to fill requests. All sub-rented equipment is sourced from trusted vendors with disinfecting protocols that meet ours. To minimize contact between staff and clients we strongly urge teams to coordinate and submit a complete list of everything needed and avoid day-of-shoot add-ons.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
