Charming Brick and Beam 5th floor studio with views of city and West Hills

This creative space is a turn-of-the-century brick and beam building converted to artist spaces in the 80s, and is still run by the construction company that has maintained it since. The space is just out of the way enough to enjoy free parking, yet surrounded by great businesses, restaurants, coffee shops and food carts within a reasonable lunch break walk or quick pick/up or delivery. The space is close to 2000 square feet, but functions best as 1500. There is a small kitchenette, with a sink, refrigerator, and water cooler. Each floor of the building has a single bathroom and wash sink. There is a long main 4x8 table with 6 chairs that can accommodate 6-8 people, as well and computer desks and two additional table that can also support organizing items, or for additional seating. There is a comfortable mid century sofa that can seat 1-4 with a coffee table. There is a table with higher chairs and mirror that can support a hair / make up station, and it is next to the window for natural light. The ground floor has two double doors with secure fob controlled entry leading to a large freight size elevator for loading equipment. The ceilings are about 9 feet tall, but 8 feet to the bottom of the beams. Keep this in mind for lighting / stands etc. Also the floor is wood, but stable. Keep in mind for multiple or long exposures. This is a working photo / video studio that has grip and gear such as sandbags and C-stands etc that can be used for an additional rate. I also have other equipment that can be rented on a per use basis. Ideal use for the space are: Photo shoots Video shoots Castings Fittings Product prep Off site meetings I have had this space for over 10 years as a successful photography studio. Clients often comment on it's charm, coziness and a nice white canvas to complete projects in. The three windows look out to a constantly moving view of the distant overpasses and the West Hills, and face the south for a bit of sunshine, or a front row seat to whatever weather is going on outside. The windows can be blacked out with foam core for example when shooting video or long exposures. There is a stereo system with bluetooth to set the vibe. There is also heat, and an AC unit to keep things comfortable. Last minute bookings and weekends are best and preferred, since I prioritize the calendar for myself. Weekdays are available per request.
