Whether you’re out to make music history, the next big podcast, or award-winning radio campaign, the team at McKinley Studios has what it takes. Here at the New Orleans' newest boutique recording studio, the legacy of music industry pioneer Larry McKinley (Google him) lives on. Just steps from where the greats have played Jazz Fest for decades, we invite you to work with some of the most experienced engineers New Orleans has to offer. Parking? No problem. Free onsite parking for approximately nine cars. There is also ample meter-free on-street parking.

Lighting description
There is a small window in the soundproof recording booth.
Several windows and a glass door that leads to a balcony in the control room. Piano room has a small window that allows natural light. Light is controlled by studio drapes. It's brightest at 1-2 p.m. All windows are tinted.
Ambient noise description
There are no neighbors, the street has average traffic, no noise from appliances.

Equipment loading description
Equipment can be loaded into the studio via the buildings double front doors. Vehicles can be temporarily parked in the loading zone in front of the building then moved to the parking lot in the rear of the building. The entrance does not require a ramp, however, should guests need it, one can be provided.
Staging area is available
The studio has several offices and rooms that can accommodate a staging area.
Some rooms are off-limits for shooting
Tenant occupied offices.
Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

As a courtesy to our engineers and staff, please be on time and end your session at the allotted time.
Outside food is allowed, but we would prefer to handle in-house. We offer bottomless popcorn, coffee, water and snacks.
No pets allowed. Certified service animals always welcomed.
All ages are allowed in the space
Furniture and decorations may be moved
Furniture and decorations can be removed, but must be replaced and not damaged.
No smoke machines allowed
Nudity is allowed
Security cameras and recording devices
Exterior security cameras are located on the premises for security reasons.
Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Health and Safety Measures
Common areas are cleaned and disinfected daily with antibacterial products.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
- Disposable masks / face coverings
- Hand Sanitizer
- Disposable gloves
