Welcome to The Terra Loft. Venture into an unexpected world where "photo studio" takes on a whole new meaning. Gone are the days of a simple backdrop, why not tell a story that elevates your brand with curated set designs that will captivate your audience at first glance. Our sets blend stone textures with alluring architectural shapes that will enhance your branding and your social grids. Whether you choose to create in the iconic circle set, strike a pose in the grand "U" cut-out, explore the charm of our 3 various thick archways, or unwind in one of our two spacious semi- circles, you'll feel more like you're on vacation than in a photo space. We have tall loft windows that are southeast facing. Natural light is most ideal earlier in the day. GREAT FOR: fashion brands, eCommerce, product shots, content creation, maternity, jewelry, engagement, headshots/group headshots, fitness, yoga, influencers, etc. Daylight studio or evening shoots. SET DESIGNS: -Warm toned side: 5ft circle window cut out, archway next to the window, 9ft semi-circle lounge area (Bali vibes or move plants for clean minimal vibes). -Cooler concrete toned side: Giant "U" cut out with matching archway next to it, double archway corner, 10ft circle with semi-circle cut out/shelving behind it. -Custom made round platforms -Designated vanity and changing area LIGHT: The natural light is more direct/bright starting at 7am. After 1pm the lighting is more diffused in the space but is still bright. Light changes depending on the time of year. We welcome virtual and in-person tours. ALSO INCLUDED IN BOOKING: - Bluetooth speaker - All pictured furniture is included in bookings - Makeup & changing area (LED vanity mirror and shelf, curtained dressing room) - Two folding tables available - Steamer - Garment rack - Water tank - AC window unit - Apple Box - 5 extension cords, 3 power cords, PLEASE NOTE: - This space is NOT SOUNDPROOF. Being in the heart of DTLA, we are subject to all of the city noise that accompanies it (fire trucks, ambulance sirens, etc), despite being on the 9th floor. Certain video interviews and other noise-sensitive productions can be done but would require mics that make that type of noise easy to remove in post-editing. If you need long-form audio with uninterrupted clips, we suggest a sound stage with another studio as the downtown noise is unfortunately unpredictable. If the editing style is shorter segments that allow for cuts, this is more doable. We've hosted several video productions/interviews but they are aware of this dynamic in advance. If this is a crucial element to your production, we welcome and encourage anyone to come tour the space in advance for larger video productions. PARKING: Under the building there is a parking structure for $10 *cash only* for the day (atm in lobby). This lot usually fills up quickly but there are many parking garages within the block and metered parking as well. I will send more parking details after you book (for safety) but here is a video of our underground parking garage, regular elevator and freight elevator in our building in the meantime. They can stay open for $125 per hour outside of these normal operating hours). REFUNDS: Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. There are no refunds for unused time. If you wrap early, there are no refunds as we have blocked that time off, planned employee hours, schedule cleaning and cannot get those hours back which could have gone to another potential guest.
