This photography studio, workshop and event space is conveniently nestled between Buffalo's Five Points neighborhood and Elmwood Village, in the historic Essex Arts Center. Our turn of the century building is filled with character. Once an ice house, the building was repurposed as an art space in the 1960's and has maintained this use since. The building has been home to some of Buffalo's greatest artists including photographer Cindy Sherman and painter Charles Clough. We now share the building with Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art, 19 Ideas marketing agency, resident artists, and more. Our space features: - 1200 square feet - 15-20 foot ceilings (partially sloped ceiling) - Natural light, dimmable ceiling fixtures - Two reserved parking spaces at door for easy load in/out, additional nearby guest parking available marked "AHF" - Full bathroom - Full kitchen - Clothing rack and hangers - Lounge area with sofa - Backdrop stands - Gear cart - Folding tables - Killer sound system - PING PONG
