About the Space

1920’s-1940’s after-hours / speakeasy-style bar / club for rent - parties, events, film / video shoots, etc. Holds 125-150 standing / dancing Basement speakeasy & back yard in historical Victorian home Private entrance, private bathroom Rental includes large back yard area Rental also includes sound / PA system and sound engineer (mandatory) - sound system includes all audiophile-quality, vintage early-80s sound system equipment. The has been called “the best sounding place to hear original reggae / soul / funk / disco on the original vinyl, played by the original DJ’s.” Pl note: this is not a catering hall. There are no tables - only 4 bar stools & 2 built in benches along walls.   • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
