Textured walls in earthy tones are paired with rustic, weathered furniture and set dressing to ensure an authentic feel that perfectly suits an editorial look without extra fuss. Enter through our 10'x12' roll up door into a 210 sq foot sage green landing area complete with a 6 seater table and chairs. The main shooting space is almost 700 sq feet of completely open space, unencumbered by walls or barriers. Add lighting and shoot in any direction. Furniture and set dressing is designed to be interchangeable and moveable. A hallway off the main space will lead you to a private restroom and amenities area, and finally to a well-appointed hair and makeup area flooded with soft natural light, the coolest leopard print carpet you've ever seen and an Impressions vanity mirror for shoots after dark. Some guests may even want to shoot in our makeup room and you are welcome to do so. For productions with more than 10 guests, the additional fee includes an additional dressing room/ green room/ office on site. It's over 200 square feet and includes a 2 person desk with chairs and a large corner sectional sofa. Although we have a 2 hour minimum, based on guest feedback we recommend at least 3 hours in order to cycle through the many background options we have available. Please book as much time as you expect to need for your entire shoot, including load-in, load out, resetting any moved furniture and clean-up. We don’t allow early arrivals and OT (billed at 1.5x your hourly rate) will begin automatically if you haven’t vacated the space promptly at the end of your booking. Your end time means taillights, not packing up/ cleaning up. There is no grace period so please keep track of your time in the space and set an alarm if you need to. Ultimately the person booking is responsible for making sure that everyone is aware of the rules and time booked in the space. Please be sure to book for the correct number of guests who will be present in the space for your shoot. If we notice more than the expected number of guests in the space, we will upgrade your booking to the appropriate pricing tier on the back end. LIGHT: The space gets a small amount of natural light only when the roll-up door is open. Otherwise it is dimly lit by overhead daylight balanced (CRI 95) tube house lights for accurate color rendering on camera. Please visit our rental catalog for lighting and grip options available to you. SOUND: The space is not sound proof. We're located inside a business warehouse complex so you're likely to hear the sporadic beeping of delivery trucks, the sounds of cars driving by & outdoor conversations between neighbors. If your shoot requires recording extremely clean, uninterrupted audio, please book after 5pm on weekdays or on weekends when it's more likely to be quiet. Sundays are the quietest. Ambient noise can also be cleaned up using Descript AI. Any daytime/ weekday shoots that require audio must work around whatever ambient noise exists around the space without any interaction with our neighbors. There will always be a representative on site in the private office or in our other space if you have questions during your booking. Please be advised that we have a studio mate who may occasionally need to access their office via the lobby front door. It is rare that it overlaps with scheduled shoots and we will inform you prior to your shoot if it may be a possibility during your rental period. It is slightly more likely to occur if you change the time of your shoot last minute or stay into overtime.
