Take A Step Back In Time

Step into one of the oldest homes in Berwyn, which was owned by one family for 130 years. The space is decorated with antiques that have been a part of the home's history, such as the 150+ year-old: dining table, dressers and bed. There are four main rooms: foyer, parlor, dining and bedroom. All but the dining room are designed in late Victorian/Edwardian style. The dining room features a mix of Victorian and mid-century. There are old photos of the home on the wall, a Victrola Talking Machine, a quarter-sawn table, old stove, a Morris chair (the original recliner), a secretary and much more. Much of the wooden furniture has beautiful carvings. The room is set up in a style as would be found in the late Victorian, early 20th-century era. The space would be suitable for period photo or film shoots. There is a foyer connected to the parlor, with a huge old front door, slate tiles, and more antiques. It adds about another 150 square foot to the 200 sq ft of the parlor. (The house follows a four-square design). A late-Victorian bedroom and a mid-century dining room are also available. There is a large bathroom and a kitchen available.
