About the Space

Step back in time at our Mid Century 1970’s Retro Time Capsule Home: A fully furnished bright and airy house located in Joshua Tree, 2 hours from LA. Built in 1971, this time capsule is nestled in Joshua Tree and boasts 1,800 sq ft of interior space, along with an enormous 0.5 acre backyard. The house includes a kitchen, dining area, large living room, 3 themed bedrooms, 2 themed bathrooms, and 1 large themed bright sun room featuring custom psychedelic ceiling wallpaper. From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice the house has been decorated with all the essential details needed to fully embody its time and create a remarkable time capsule. Down to the wallpaper, lamps, books, custom tile throughout, and color palettes. Each piece on the property was sourced in California. Every inch of the house is a photo-worthy masterpiece. In addition to the home itself, the backyard teleports you to a desert oasis. Along the surrounding desert gardens sits a sparkling cowboy tub, hot tub, mountain landscape, firepit, and hammocks. Plenty of parking for crew on the property in driveway and on the street for larger productions. There is Central Heating, Air Conditioning, and Fast Wifi. 100% of the cleaning fee goes directly to our hardworking cleaners.

Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Disposable masks / face coverings
The space has the following features:
