About the Space
Strike-slip Gallery located in the Mission District is a multi-purpose, active art gallery space upstairs and lounge atelier space downstairs. We consistently rotate unique exhibitions every 6-8 weeks and offer our flexible space as a private event venue for corporate outings, art lessons, photo shoots, panels, workshops, social gatherings, micro weddings, etc. More details below: - F&B is BYOB or vendors are more than welcome. - The location couldn't be better - 14th Street and Guerrero Street at the apex of several iconic San Francisco neighborhoods like Hayes Valley, Castro, and Mission. - Two floors totaling 1,550 Sq ft (950 sf of ground floor showroom/gallery space; 600 sf of subterranean “speakeasy” style lounge space and atelier, with accents of natural light). - Lots of natural light on the open, ground level floor. - Front seating area is built in by the windows. - Tables and chairs are available onsite. Please note: the art installed cannot be changed or adjusted and must not be touched during events. Art exhibitions rotate roughly every 6-8 weeks. - A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
- Disposable masks / face coverings
- Hand Sanitizer

Strike slip gallery was an incredible venue, highly recommend!! A+++ Andy was very responsive and super helpful in accommodating our event. Our family and friends are forever grateful for the beautiful space, and couldn’t stop talking about much of a gem the gallery was in especially in SF. Would love to be back in the future! I had a FANTASTIC experience at this space. I host a regular open-mic style event and it suited a turnout of about 35 perfectly. Andrea was super helpful with additional chairs, tables and answered questions quickly. Definitely plan to return and would recommend.
