You can have it all at The Fold at the former Manhattan Shirt Co.: a spacious industrial-modern venue, flexibility to DIY or bring in your vendors, and Manhattan loft vibes without the hassle of the city – all at comparable pricing to your local VFW. We had a vision to bring a versatile and stylish yet affordable event/production space to our community – something sophisticated in a place you would least expect. That’s why we transformed a 5,000 sq ft loft in a post-WWI garment factory into a distinctive and rare event space, creative haven, and chef’s table: so that local families and businesses, artists and creatives could have access to a beautiful white-canvas space with all the quintessential industrial loft-style elements – 14’ ceilings, oversized windows, hardwood flooring, and exposed brick walls – but without having to deal with NYC logistics and pricing. When you step into The Fold, you’ll have access to any or all of our newly renovated 3,000 sq ft central space, lounge/office nook perfect for photo booths, large open-concept kitchen with modern appliances, and chef’s table, welcome reception area, and wrap-around sconce-lit hallway ideal for gallery space – with a large freight elevator making load-in simple directly from the loading dock. The space is flooded with natural light during the daytime and options for warm or cool mood lighting in the evening. Plus, add-ons are available to spread out or even spend the night: break-out room/photo studio, two riverside rooms that can be used as make-up and dressing rooms or set up with overnight accommodations, and additional bathrooms for larger events. In addition to celebratory, creative/arts, and professional events, The Fold is also a one-stop shop for your production needs like photo and video shoots, and an ideal location for culinary affairs and demonstrations, fitness/recreational classes, and collaborative meetings like workshops and panels. If you’re looking to book larger or multi-layered events, The Fold can be combined with two additional 5,000 sq ft spaces on adjacent floors. While these spaces have a distinct atmosphere from The Fold, they can be incorporated to create a unique vibe across different floors. One of these spaces, Prototype, is adorned with unique art and has a large stage with professional lighting and sound – perfect for a performance with an associated reception at The Fold. The second additional space, Phenotype, is an open-concept arts loft that has been used for theater productions and dance parties and can serve as supplemental space for multifaceted events or production team spillover. The space is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each event by professional cleaners

Cancellation Policy

Standard 30 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
