Our quaint cottage studio is perfect for headshots and brand sessions, newborn/baby photography, family photography, maternity photography, and boudoir photography. The covered front porch and yard add additional outdoor shooting space, as well! The zinnia gardens are beautiful in late May through about mid to late August. If you're counting on those, feel free to message me to see what state they're in! The yard is more bare in fall and winter. We are located only 15 minutes from downtown Austin at the end of a gravel road surrounded by empty land and so much wildlife. It feels like the country, without a long drive to get there! Enjoy the sound of windchimes in the huge live oak beside the studio, and watch the funny free-range chickens as they roam. Please note that the "chicken yard" area around the barn and coop is rugged/rocky/uneven - I do not have it prepared as a photo location, though you are welcome to check it out, if anything catches your eye. A bathroom, kitchen, and seating area are located steps away in the refinished barn. Everything has AC and heat! LIGHTING: The studio is drenched in natural light all hours of the day, and windows face north and west. The light inside the studio is golden and dimensional in the late afternoon hours (when the listing photos were taken). It's more bright and even the rest of the day. I prefer no dogs because we have so many animals here + the studio is small and all white with some furniture items that could be damaged by claws, but please let me know if you have an especially well behaved dog you'd like to bring.
