Our quaint cottage studio is perfect for headshots and brand sessions, newborn/baby photography, family photography, maternity photography, and boudoir photography. The covered front porch and yard add additional outdoor shooting space, as well! The zinnia gardens are beautiful in late May through about mid to late August. If you're counting on those, feel free to message me to see what state they're in! The yard is more bare in fall and winter. The last image in the listing shows our converted barn space, where you will have access to the bathroom but which isn't always perfectly climate controlled. If you'd like to consider the "add on" for barn usage (for extra changing space, hair and makeup space, etc), feel free to check out that option here on our listing. For folks that add on, we are sure to turn on AC or heat as needed. We are located only 15 minutes from downtown Austin at the end of a gravel road surrounded by empty land and so much wildlife. It feels like the country, without a long drive to get there! Enjoy the sound of windchimes in the huge live oak beside the studio, and watch the funny free-range chickens as they roam. Please note that the "chicken yard" area around the barn and coop is rugged/rocky/uneven - I do not have it prepared as a photo location, though you are welcome to check it out, if anything catches your eye. As mentioned, a bathroom is located steps away in the refinished barn. LIGHTING: The studio is drenched in natural light all hours of the day, and windows face north (side windows) and west (front windows). The light inside the studio is golden and dimensional in the late afternoon hours (when the listing photos were taken). It's more bright and even the rest of the day. I prefer no dogs because we have so many animals here + the studio is small and all white with some furniture items that could be damaged by claws, but please let me know if you have an especially well behaved dog you'd like to bring.
