About the Space

Our studio is located in a business park off Latham Street in Riverside where we have hosted podcasts, photoshoots, music recording sessions, Tiny Desk live music setups, DJ showcase/Boiler Room style videos, music videos and corporate talking-head style videos. The space is considered to be a cozy, "homely" space filled with books and movie memorabilia. Feel free to bring your own props to match the space to your podcast or video production! AMMENITIES Offering a free 15 minute pre-booking tour of the space to allow you to get a feel for the studio space and for me to answer any questions you might have about where to place gear and tips on how to layout the space previously from other podcast productions. Our hourly price is made for efficient podcasting productions, and as such includes: - 4x Audio-Technica AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Mics with Pop Filters, Tabletop Stands or floor mic stands - 4x 35ft XLR Cables (+various lengths from 10ft to 25ft) - 1x Yamaha MG10XU 10-Input Stereo Mixer (4XLR Inputs) - 4x 15ft HDMI cables (the "max" length specified for the ATEM by BlackMagic) - 1x 50ft Fiber Optic HDMI Cable (Perfect for sharing a laptop screen to the ATEM) - 4x Sandbags - Audio Cables to connect from Mixer to ATEM or separate audio recorder - Gaff Tape set (Multi-colored, black and white, painter's tapes) - Basic Toolset - Staging Areas - Producer's Seating/Monitoring Area (Couch with TV Sized Multiview Monitor) - Mini fridge - Complimentary water bottles both room temp and cold *** Please supply your own lightning data cable and supported external SSD, or rent our own supported SSD https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/faq/59032 *** THE SPACE Our space has two main rooms for use. One is the main podcasting room with all amenities included listed above. The other room is a photo backdrop room with basic White, Black, and Green Screen ready for setup. This room can also be used as a space to store gear, or be used as a green room or MUA room during your production. We also have a single restroom that has a mirror to do any makeup as needed. The hallway leads to employee only areas that are mainly storage and a whiteboard room. FURNITURE Our space includes a table, 4 chairs, 2 wooden stools, 2 leather adjustable height stools, and two couches that can be moved and situated according to your production, however we do not recommend moving the bookcases situated alongside the main wall and entrance wall. We can, however, clear off the books and speaker from the main wall bookcase if you would like to add your own props that suite your project (Trophies/basketball for a sports podcast, awards and plants for a corporate podcast, etc. etc.). There is also a short wall with 2 photo ledges for posters and thin props, perfect to display posters and vinyl records. ADDITIONAL SERVICES/GEAR The space has access to an ATEM Extreme ISO HDMI Switcher, Lightform LF2+ projector that can display logos or other footage, basic lighting softboxes, GVM LED lights, spotlights, reflectors, Elgato Stream Deck XL, and on-location support for additional fees, flat or hourly. NEIGHBORS AND CITY Most businesses immediately near us are corporate and do not create noise around us, meaning your shoot will be free of outside neighboring noise. If you will be recording louder instruments like drums, we ask that you please record after hours from 5pm and onward as a courtesy to our neighbor who shares a wall with us. We are situated off Market Street that is 5 minutes from Downtown Riverside, where you can find various eateries, coffee shops, convenience stores, and lodging.

All commonly used items and spaces are wiped down and disinfected between each production as needed.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
