House Rules for Blue Mark Studios To ensure a pleasant and safe experience for all our guests, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following house rules: 1. No Smoking: - Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building. Designated smoking areas are available outside. 2. Outside Catering: - Outside catering is allowed. Caterers must bring all necessary supplies and are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and food service areas. All trash must be removed from the premises at the end of the event. 3. Alcohol Policy: - Alcohol may be served, but not sold, unless you have the appropriate permits. A licensed bartender is required for serving alcohol. We can provide bartender services upon request. 4. Decorations: - Decorations are permitted, but please use non-damaging methods to hang or display them (e.g., no nails, screws, permanent adhesives or no tape of any kind on the floors). Confetti, glitter, rice, birdseed, flower petals, sparklers, and smoke machines are not allowed inside the facility. Candles must be enclosed in hurricanes or votives. 5. Music and Noise: - Music and noise levels must be kept at a reasonable volume, especially after 10 PM. We reserve the right to control the sound levels to ensure compliance with local noise ordinances and to respect our neighbors. 6. Clean-Up: - The space must be left in a condition acceptable for normal gallery and business operations the next morning. Cleaning fees are included in your rental, but excessive mess or damage may result in additional charges. 7. Pets: - No pets or animals are allowed inside the facility, except for trained service animals required for assistance by individuals with disabilities. 8. Event End Time: - All events must conclude by 12:00 AM (midnight) unless otherwise agreed upon. Additional hours past 12:00 AM are available at an extra charge of $150 per hour. 9. Security: - Security personnel may be required for certain events. We can provide security services upon request. 10. Damage and Liability: - Renters are responsible for any damage caused to the property, including that caused by guests or vendors. A refundable damage deposit is required and will be used against any damage or excessive cleaning required after your event. 11. Deliveries and Pick-Ups: - All deliveries and pick-ups must be scheduled in advance and coordinated with Blue Mark Studios staff. Vendors must remove all equipment and rental items immediately following the event. 12. Compliance with Laws: - The space must not be used for any unlawful purposes or activities, including gambling or other immoral acts. All activities must comply with local, state, and federal laws. 13. Approval of Vendors: - Blue Mark Studios reserves the right to approve all vendors contracted for events. Please inform us of your chosen vendors in advance. 14. Fire Safety: - No flammable, combustible, or explosive substances are allowed on the premises. Sterno containers for chafing dishes are permitted for food heating purposes. 15. Publicity: - Any publicity in written or broadcast media must be approved by Blue Mark Studios. We reserve the right to request a sample of any invitation or announcement for an event. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
