The space has 2 windows that can be controlled with blinds or completely blocked with our Victorian wall. They are facing East, which means the brightest daylight is from the hours of 7 am to 11:30 am.

Recording clean audio is very easy. Due to the studio's location at a busy intersection in La Jolla, you may occasionally hear medical emergency vehicles. The space is soundproofed, and additional soundproofing can be provided if you need more noise-dampening.

Stairs

The space has 2 points of entry. Once on-site, all renters must first enter the main stairway located in the center of the building. To help load equipment faster, a stairwell is located to the east for quicker access to any vehicles parked on the street.

The main office is located across from the bathroom for studio personnel only. (Behind the concrete wall.)

The space is outfitted with standard 120 outlets. There is also a pull-down extension cord located in the ceiling for an easy source of power anywhere in the studio.

STUDIO RULES - Liability & Risk Everyone must fill out a waiver. No one under the age of 18 is allowed in the studio. - Zero Tolerance; Drugs and Alcohol Using any substance found on the property will call for immediate cancelation (see cancellation policy). - Smoke-Free Property No smoking (Cigarette, Vape, & Marijuana) inside the studio space or within a 100ft proximity of the building itself in which Uncensored is located. - No Food or Drink Water is acceptable in a closed container. - No Pets Leave all pets at home. For a “service animal,” proper documentation (from an accredited legal authority) must always be present and available for verification. The “service animal” will be asked to leave the premises if the owner cannot produce paperwork. - Start and End on Time Your start and end times should include your setup and breakdown. An additional $75/hr fee will be incurred if your access exceeds the allotted appointment time. - Load In & Load Out All clothes, equipment, props, and additional items will be left in the back hall make-up space. Do not place anything on the white podcast chairs. - Take Trash Out Clean trash, re-hang the audio cord, and return any items that were used in their original location. - Do Not Disturb our Neighbors Do not accede over 45 decibels between 6 am - 5 pm and over 50 decibels between 6 pm - 11:30 pm. - Door Closed and Unlocked The door must remain closed at all times. When the door is closed, it is to remain unlocked. - Do Not Touch the A/C The A/C unit will be set at an acceptable temperature. If cooler air is needed, please notify US immediately, and it will be handled. - No Glitter Glitter is impossible to clean and creates a giant mess. An additional clean-up fee of $250 will be added if glitter is used. - No Fire or Burning Lighters, matches, incense, or other flammable materials are prohibited in the studio. - Do Not Walk on the Black Surface with Shoes The use of socks or bare feet is allowed on the black-painted surface of the mood scene. An additional clean-up fee of $75 will be added if shoes are worn. - We Are Not Responsible for Any Lost or Stolen Items Please leave any valuables at home or in your car. The studio space is under 24/7 surveillance. All security cameras are not to be blocked or turned for any reason due to safety reasons. - A Staff Member Will be On-Site at all times For any additional help for anything studio-related, someone will be on-site to assist with your needs. - Security The studio is being recorded and monitored with cameras 24/7 for your safety. - In Case of Emergency Call 911 immediately

All furniture can be moved but must be re-staged when cleaning up. No decorations that leave marks on the walls are allowed unless otherwise agreed upon before the scheduled shoot.
