Flexible meeting and event space with deck and garden.

75' x 50' flexible space. This is our church's worship space, with movable chairs and 6' round tables that can be configured as needed. There are no overtly Christian symbols in the space. A sound system and an overhead projector with a screen are available. The Steinway baby grand piano is available with approval from our Director of Music. We also have a 16' x 40' deck, a garden with a small grassy area, and a children's playground, all of which are included in your rental. We also have a room that can be used as a dressing room for an additional hourly fee. When you arrive, chairs will be arranged as they were at the previous Sunday's worship service. If you want a different configuration of chairs and tables, it will be up to you to move and rearrange them. We have dollies available and storage space if you want our chairs removed from the space. It will also be your responsibility to move the chairs back into the space after your event. Please be sure to include setup and cleanup time in the time period you request. Umstead Park UCC is an Open and Affirming congregation, which means that we welcome fully persons of every race, religious background, age, ability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and economic condition.
