Built in 1951, our farmhouse and its 1 acre land feels like an orchard in the middle of Palo Alto. Despite being walking distance from Rivian, Tesla, HP, and Stanford, Barron Park area was primarily used for farming and ranching in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Barron Park resisted annexation to Palo Alto to preserve its semi-rural character before finally being incorporated into Palo Alto in 1975. Matadero Avenue is near several local parks, including Bol Park, which offers recreational opportunities and is known for its donkeys, Perry and Jenny. Matadero Creek: The street runs parallel to Matadero Creek, which is a natural feature in the area. Efforts to preserve and enhance the creek’s natural state have been part of local environmental initiatives. If you’re interested in using the front or backyard spaces, we’d be happy to create a customized offer based on a few details such as noise levels, hours of use, cleaning needs, specific areas, and the number of guests. If you wish to stay overnight, we kindly recommend providing at least 72 hours’ notice so we can best accommodate your needs. The home includes 4 bedrooms: 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, a two-level daybed in the living room, and 2 large sofas. Overnight rates range from $500 to $900 per night, depending on the number of guests, bedroom usage, cleaning requirements, and how far in advance the reservation is made. 1. Preparation and Planning • Scheduling: Our cleaning process begins with a detailed schedule to ensure thoroughness and efficiency. Cleaning tasks are divided into daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning routines. • Supplies: We use high-quality cleaning supplies, including eco-friendly products that are safe for you and the environment. Our tools are regularly sanitized to maintain hygiene. 2. General Cleaning Routine • Surface Cleaning: All high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops, are cleaned with disinfectant wipes. • Dusting: We dust all furniture, shelves, and decorative items. Special attention is given to hard-to-reach areas to eliminate allergens. • Vacuuming and Sweeping: Carpets, rugs, and upholstery are vacuumed using HEPA-filter vacuums to trap dust and allergens. Hardwood floors and tiles are swept and mopped. • Trash Removal: All trash bins are emptied and cleaned. Recycling and composting are done in accordance with local guidelines. 3. Kitchen Cleaning • Appliance Care: We clean and sanitize all kitchen appliances, including the refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. • Countertops and Cabinets: Kitchen countertops, cabinets, and backsplash are wiped down and disinfected. • Sink and Faucets: The kitchen sink and faucets are scrubbed and sanitized. We also check for and clean any drain blockages. 4. Bathroom Cleaning • Sanitizing Fixtures: Toilets, sinks, bathtubs, and showers are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. We use special cleaners to remove soap scum and hard water stains. • Mirror and Glass Cleaning: Mirrors and any glass surfaces are cleaned with streak-free solutions. • Restocking Supplies: We restock essential bathroom supplies like toilet paper, hand soap, and towels. 5. Bedroom and Living Areas • Bedding: All bedding, including sheets, pillowcases, and blankets, is laundered with hypoallergenic detergent.
