Charm City Books is located in an historic 100 year old carriage house that has been transformed into a whimsical bookshop and multipurpose event space. If you can dream it we can accomodate. From birthday parties to boiler room sets, audio and video podcast recordings to private date nights, intimate stage plays to team meetings. Whether you're launching a book or hosting a comedy show, or looking to propose to your beloved, we have the adaptability and the audio visual capabilities to support your vision. The space may look like just a gorgeous cozy bookshop but it can transform based on the unique needs of your event or content shoot. We have photographic lights, multi colored LEDs available, wireless sound functionality, and live stream engineering all available to you. Charm City Books is an award winning bookshop named best bookstore in Baltimore in 2020, 2021, and 2023, by editors and readers choice of Baltimore Magazine. The store received the Comcast Rise Grant, the BGE energizing small businesses grant, and a Baltimore Community Arts grant for our programming and dedication to supporting local schools and organizations with book drives.

Cancellation Policy
Standard 30 day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
