Our Downtown Historic Italianate Victorian Home is an Italianate Victorian mansion, built by wine and liquor merchant Emil Schneider and and his wife, Helene, in 1870. It has been well preserved over its many years, inhabited by a British funeral director, serving a 40-year stint as a rooming house, brought back to single-family use by an early 1970s preservationist, and a beloved single-family home ever since. We are pleased to offer its old-world charm and history as a backdrop for special life events and photography. Rental includes the use of the front parlor/dining room, living room, kitchen, and outdoor spaces (porch, pergola-covered deck, garden area, paved patio.) Our Downtown Historic Italianate Victorian Home is available to rent for photoshoots, daytime events (ie. baby or bridal showers), meetings, wedding day prep, and photography.
