As a nonprofit bookstore and community hub, we proudly host a wide range of events - writers’ groups and workshops, kids’ birthday parties (puppet shows available for extra cost), weddings and receptions, open mic nights, wellness classes like yoga and dance, and other creative gatherings. Our space is a beautiful sanctuary, surrounded by books, filled with natural light and designed to tickle your curiosity. IN-HOUSE ENTERTAINMENT UPON REQUEST Looking for a unique and unforgettable party experience? Choose our own entertainment, PUPPETONIA Puppet Show (www.puppetonia.com) ! A fun-filled 50–60 minute interactive show, with puppets, songs, dance, musical instruments, bubbles, and an engaging story. The children will move, dance, and interact with the puppets throughout. The show is customized to the children's ages. Special Party Favor: Each child may choose a free book from our bookstore! This way, part of the time includes browsing books and fostering a love of reading. ADVERTISING UPON REQUEST If this is a PUBLIC EVENT, we'd be happy to promote it through our newsletter, which reaches approximately 500 people in Hoboken. This service is offered at no cost. FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY -Alcohol is not permitted - Outside food catering is allowed and we have an on-site kitchenette. -No confetti or balloons with confetti inside. RATES $95/ hr We can accommodate up to 50 guests in our space. Set up and break down time must be included in rental time.
