I recently had the pleasure of performing at The Cook House, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The mansion is absolutely stunning—its historic charm and beautifully preserved details create such a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease. The acoustics in The Cook House were beyond amazing. The way the sound carried through the space made it feel like the building itself was part of the experience. Several attendees mentioned how the setting really amplified the calming and restorative energy of the sound bath I performed. I also can’t say enough good things about the team at The Cook House. They were so friendly, helpful, and attentive, making sure everything was perfect for the event. It’s clear they take great pride in the venue and genuinely care about the people who use it. The Cook House is truly a one-of-a-kind venue. If you’re looking for a beautiful, unique space for an event, I can’t recommend it enough. I’m already looking forward to the next time I get to perform there!

The Cook House has great ambience and acoustics, chairs for seating, and tables for merchandise, food and beverage, as well as socializing seating couches and ottomans etc. The backstage area was great with 2 entrances. There’s ample street parking and easy load-in and load-out. Our event was intimate with 25 guests, but a 75 or even 100 person show is totally possible in the space. We brought a simple PA to project vocals and guitar. This might be helpful to others looking to do a show: a stripped down drum kit would work here but don't plan an event with a full drum kit! It would be too much for the space. If you're looking to offer a memorable experience to event attendees, The Cook House is a good option. There is elegance in the decor/space, fireplaces, grand piano, wrap around mantle, and wood trims etc. Emily the manager from the space was easy to work with, timely with correspondence, and hospitable and proactive in activation support. Looking forward to working with her again in the spring for a showcase.
