The sanctuary is part of a nonprofit, dedicated to providing a haven for horses in need while educating the public about wild horse preservation. Though relatively new, our sanctuary has a rich connection to the land, nestled within the stunning Joshua Tree desert. The area’s peaceful, wide-open spaces provide an excellent backdrop for relaxation and outdoor activities, making your stay feel like a true retreat. You’ll also find quirky roadside attractions and historical spots in nearby Pioneertown, just a short drive away. Logistics: This ranch offers a versatile outdoor layout, perfect for small to medium gatherings. The central outdoor space is ideal for ceremonies, group activities, or simply relaxing. Guests also have access to a cozy campfire area with seating, as well as designated trails for walking or horseback riding. Horses and other farm animals are a part of and available on the ranch. The sanctuary’s geodesic dome can be transformed into a lounge area or meeting space during cooler months. While tables and chairs aren’t part of the standard setup, we can recommend local vendors for rentals. There’s ample parking available for guests, and the sanctuary is easily accessible by car. Public transportation is limited in this rural area, so we recommend driving or arranging transportation. Our standard rates vary depending on the season and day of the week, with slightly higher rates on weekends and during peak seasons (spring and fall). Standard rates start at $450 per hour with a minimum of 3 hours.
