Stardance Vista House sits on 1/2 acre of fenced land on the southeast corner of an unfenced 5 acre property. The black and white house has colorful softly geometric murals by Bunnie Reiss on the front (east facing) and south sides of the main building (dining and master patios). There are many flexible spaces, inside and out, to adjust seating angles and lighting. The unfenced portion of the property is untouched desert, mostly level with unobstructed views. As a photo/film shoot location: The property is great for outdoor photo shoots as there are many different opportunities for capturing color, light, and shadow with the 2 covered and mural lined patios. There are also a handful of "vignette" type areas: black and white chairs below the pergola with valley view, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, trio of hammocks between two big trees, trio of lounge chairs next to a clawfoot tub, couch w chaise on master patio with main mural of a divine hand as backdrop. The furniture is very flexible in many of these places and they are all inside the fence line. Outside the fence line there is room for 8-10 vehicles to park, so electrical/equipment and production vans plus talent and a small crew. The majority of the 5 acres are raw untouched desert, relatively level with small wash cutting through the property from south to north. See the aerial picks for more information. The surrounding land on 2 sides is vacant BLM so there are sweeping uninterrupted views on those 2 sides, to the west and the north. To the north is a valley and to the west there is a small rocky mountain. There are great spaces for people to hang out and talk, practice yoga or meditation, eat, get massages, do sound baths, etc. The vibe on the land is chill and it is VERY quiet. We have a rule of no amplified sound outdoors between 8pm and 8am. We do consider parties that would be interested in renting a silent disco setup though. Sound can be amplified inside the house until 10pm. There is a small kitchen with an island which could be a great space for appetizers and there is a grill on the dining patio as well. The maximum number of daytime guests allowed inside the fence is 24 and the house sleeps 4 total. You can rent for the event only or if 2-4 guests would like to stay the night you would pay the nightly fee plus venue fee by the hour for the amount of time all guests are present, rounded up.
