Hours of Operation Monday through Friday - 8am to 8pm Saturday, Sunday - unavailable Located steps away from the iconic Flatiron building, 14 West occupies a whole floor of a penthouse. 14 West pays homage to the history of the Flatiron District with unique details and beautifully designed furnishings. 14 West also offers an outdoor terrace with stunning city views. The venue's skylights provide daylight during the day and are equipped with manual covers to control natural light as needed. The venue also offers a bar, a dining table, and a music listening station with a record player, which provides great backdrops for content creation shoots. We have hosted many production projects and understand the importance of professionalism and quiet environments. The building has minimal foot traffic, and we provide an on-site space manager to assist you with any questions. Building History: 14 West was built in 1857 as a fashionable brownstone residence, where author Edith Wharton was born in 1862. The building was later adapted for commercial use, and by the late 19th century, after renovations by architects like Henry Hardenberg and George H. Billings, additional floors were added, and its facade was transformed. The building transitioned from a private home to a retail and office space, later housing Jazzmania Society in the 1970s and 1980s. Venue Amenities: - Skylights (with manual covers to control natural lighting) - High-speed WiFi (347.0 Mbps download speed / 20.6 Mbps upload speed) - Marshall Woburn speaker with Bluetooth connectivity - 55” Samsung QLED picture frame TV with YouTube Premium subscription - Garment rack with hangers - Kitchen with island and refrigerator - 12 ft ceilings, exposed brick & hardwood floors - Lounge seating - Newly renovated restroom with toiletries provided - Central heating and Air conditioning - Elevator access for easy equipment load-in and out We’re located just steps away from the historic Flatiron Building and are easily accessible by public transit (one block from R-W line, F-M line & NJ PATH; two blocks from 1-2 line & 4-6 line). Various parking garages are also in the area. - Any cancellations due to COVID-19 are non-refundable unless the city imposes indoor gathering restrictions. - We do not reschedule or accept cancellations of any dates or times already booked beyond 24 hours of their initial booking. If you need to reschedule for any reason, you may cancel your current booking and send a request for a new booking date; however, please know that we do not offer any refunds for cancelled bookings outside of our cancellation policies. - Location agreements can be signed after a booking request is accepted, not before. - We are not available for location scouts before accepting a booking request. You may request to receive an unedited walkthrough video of our venue for reference.

Health and Safety Measures

Health, safety, and cleaning protocols: - We have installed air filters in our HVAC system with Merv-13 ratings which are capable of trapping particles in the micron range. Our venue will have multiple hand-sanitizing stations for you and your guests to use. The restrooms are also stocked with hand soap and hand sanitizer. - We have a licensed cleaning company that cleans the venue after each event. Every part of our venue is completely cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected.

Cancellation Policy

Standard 90 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 14 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
