Only 40 minutes from Boston, Situated at 62 School Street in Holliston’s charming Mudville neighborhood, Rita’s Labyrinth welcomes visitors who welcome nature’s embrace or allow them to explore the restorative benefits of labyrinth walking. Rita’s Labyrinth also serves as a gathering place for the community to collectively observe changing seasons and life-cycle events. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth features a single entry and exit point. Its winding path takes you on a meditative journey towards the center without any dead ends. Simply follow the trail to the heart of Rita's Labyrinth and retrace your steps back out, experiencing tranquility at every turn. Rita's Labyrinth is a modified version of the famous Chartres Labyrinth, found at the Chartres Cathedral just outside Paris. Dating back to the 1200s, the Chartres Labyrinth is an 11-circuit structure spanning 1800 square feet. Visitors can explore its winding path only on certain days of the year. Rita's Labyrinth, with its seven circuits, pays homage to this medieval masterpiece while offering a more accessible experience.
