This space has 3 bedrooms, one down and two up and is rustic and homey. The back yard is roomy and lush. Westport Point is part of the Farm Coast Historic District and the 1847 Farmhouse was once owned by the family, according to our research, for whom the Tiverton Library is named. This home can be seen in photographs going back to the mid 1800s. The space in the back yard that is covered with a large piece of slate is a mystery. We believe it was the base of a windmill for the town at one time. Please do not move the slate as it is quite heavy. You may be wondering what the large tree in the backyard is. It is a Butternut, one of the few remaining nut trees of its kind neighbors from many generations remember climbing it and many on the Point believe it dates back 165 years.
