About the Space

For filming, imagine an apartment building that has a modern yet lived-in feel, creating a sense of realism. Here’s a detailed description: Exterior: The building is mid-century modern with clean lines, glass windows, and a wood and concrete/brick facade, balconies but it’s a little weathered, hinting at age. It’s surrounded by a well-maintained but not overly pristine courtyard with small trees, benches, and a few plants, offering a sense of community but not too perfect to look staged. The entrance is framed by large glass double doors, with a code to enter. It’s a three-story structure with a mix of brick and glass, and the windows are slightly dirty, giving it a lived-in touch. There’s a set of stairs leading up to the main door and a few parking spots in our underground parking lot for residents and for filming. Lobby: The lobby is understated but functional, with beige or gray walls and tiled floors. There’s a sitting area in the entrance by the front desk, with a few chairs, and a front desk. The walls are adorned with simple art pieces, possibly abstract or neutral tones. The lighting is soft, with a few overhead fixtures and a pendant light above the reception desk. The elevator (an older model, with a metal door) is visible in the back, and there’s a staircase that leads up to the upper floors. Hallways: The hallways on each floor are lit with worn-out carpeting, adding a bit of character. The walls are painted in neutral tones of brown and blue, but there are small signs of wear and tear. The doors to the individual apartments are basic, but perfect for filming scenes of a movie or photoshoot Apartments: The studio apartment interiors have an eclectic mix of furniture, some modern pieces alongside older, more comfortable ones. It’s clear that the place has been lived in for a while, with personal touches. The walls are mostly white, but each room has an accent color or wallpaper. The commercial kitchen is fully functional. The bedrooms are hotel room types with a bed with rumpled sheets, a nightstand with a lamp, and a closet, reflecting a person in the middle of their day-to-day life. The overall vibe of the apartment building feels like a perfect space where real people live, or could be used for hospital scenes or mental institute not too glamorous, but comfortable and lived-in. It's a place with character, where the building's age and history are apparent in the details, yet still has a functional, everyday charm for filming purposes.
