Welcome to Quell Studio, a dynamic and versatile space meticulously designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and functionality. Whether you're looking to work, dine, create, or host an intimate event, Quell Studio offers a flexible environment that adapts to your needs. We’ve created this space with three multi-functional spaces that includes an open space, fully equipped kitchen, large, renovated private washroom, dining, and lounge spaces. At the heart of the studio, you'll find an expansive multi-purpose area featuring: • Open, fully equipped kitchen with a large island and standard appliances including a fridge, electric stove, sink, air fryer, kettle, small appliances, small wares, glass wares and kitchen tools • a cozy fireplace • a large flat-screen TV • 4–8-person expandable dining or work table • A record player • The two additional multi-functional rooms include: • A secondary 6-8 person dining or work table • A three-seater futon • A loveseat couch • Modern coffee table WHY THIS IS THE STUDIO FOR YOU: • Tons of cool, modern character with a love for food, diversity and pop culture. • A lot of natural light in the main space • A great selection of culinary, occasion and cultural props that can be used • We carry simple photography equipment including lights, tripods, mics, backdrops, surfaces, clothing rack – all available for a small fee • We offer rental of podcast equipment • Office stationery, laser printer and access to additional monitor screen on site • High-speed guest WIFI included • Heating and Air-conditioning • Conveniently located right off Jane and Dundas, placing it in a vibrant area with plenty of local amenities. Located close to The Junction, Bloor West, Jane Subway Station, bus routes, and 10 mins away from major highways. • Summerhill Market and Loblaws are located next door a block away offering additional shopping and dining options just steps away. • Easily accessible from street level for easy equipment loading and accessibility • Ample street parking available • Studio manager to be on site to support, if required HOST RULES • We have plenty of slippers to keep your toes warm and cozy. Shoes must be taken off at the entrance. • We kindly ask that everything is returned to its original spot after use to keep the space pristine for the next group • Your booking period must include your set up and clean up time. • All garbage must be disposed of to the container at the side of the building • Alcohol consumption must be moderate as this is primarily a working space • NO smoking of any kind is allowed in the studio. • NO sparks or flammable objects. • NO glitter or confetti • NO Candle wax dripped on floor, furniture or other surfaces • NO nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls • All activity must be contained within the unit Overtime is dependable on availability, and it is charged in increments of 30 mins at the same price of the original booking. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Although we charge a cleaning fee, we appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in Please be considerate of your booking time and make sure to leave the studio within your scheduled time, otherwise overtime fees will apply. ADDED VALUE Our collective is built up of chefs, beverage experts content creators, marketers, event planners and experience designers. We are happy to offer additional expertise and support to make your next project a reality. We can share our preferred lists for production and catering. Content Creators – Perfect for food and lifestyle creators looking for a dope spot for your next creative project. We are ideal for kitchen, lifestyle and product photography or videography. The space is fully customisable and gives you access to a host of onsite features and extras to build your set and elevate your storytelling. Small businesses and entrepreneurs- Our versatile and welcoming workspace, perfect for individuals looking to host collaborative meetings, work sessions, or small gatherings. The two rooms with separate table and seating offers flexibility to break out in smaller groups or have more privacy. It is ideal for productive meetings, collaborative discussions or a space for independent work. Workshop facilitators – Whether digital or analog, we have a 55” smart TV and large magnetic double-sided white board to help facilitate any workshop for up to 8 people. It’s a creative space to spark inspiration, host creative brainstorming sessions, and build plans for your business needs. WEEKDAY DAYTIME: 8am-5pm: $75hr (Monday to Thursday, minimum 3 hours WEEKEND DAYTIME: 8am-5pm $100/hr (Friday-Sunday, minimum 3 hours) WEEKDAY EVENING: 5pm-10pm: $125/hr (Friday-Sunday, minimum 3 hours) WEEKEND EVENING: 5pm-12am: $150/hr (Friday-Sunday, minimum 3 hours) Cleaning fee: $90 Refundable damage deposit of $500
