Welcome to the Columbia Creative Space, where history meets creativity! Nestled in a century-old building in Seattle’s vibrant Columbia City neighborhood, our 2nd-floor loft spans 1,884 square feet and features original, weathered hardwood floors and exposed brick walls, all bathed in an abundance of natural light. With 17 windows offering north and west-facing views, the space is bright and inspiring. Most windows are equipped with blinds, though not all. Located in the heart of Columbia City, we’re surrounded by fantastic dining options, including the Columbia City Alehouse right on our building’s first floor, along with favorites like Geraldine’s Counter, Tutta Bella, Jackalope Tex Mex, and many more, just steps away. We can't wait to welcome you and see the amazing work you'll create in our space! The Columbia Creative Space is ideal for: - Headshots - Band Photos - Video Work - Couple Sessions - Brand Work - Product Photography - Editorial Work - Lifestyle Sessions - Meeting Space (Our large space can comfortably host up to 20 guests) The Columbia Creative Space is NOT ideal for and cannot be used for: - Live performances (We have neighbors below us) - Large gatherings - Glitter or fog machines Your rental includes use of: - 1,883 ft² of space - Weathered century-old floors, exposed brick, white walls - Wifi - An abundance of natural light - Glass meeting table that seats up to 6 people - Living room setup - Small kitchenette with fridge and sink - 2 restrooms - North/west-facing natural light - Seamless rolls (black, white, and light blue) and a 10x7ft (WxH) photo studio adjustable background stand Props: Couch, table & chair, bench, lamp, guitars, Ramones print, etc. Particular project or vision? Bring What You Need! We’ve provided seamless rolls (black, white, and light blue), a 10x7ft (WxH) adjustable photo studio background stand, and a pair of worn but functioning soft-box lights. The stands on the lights are, dare I say, a little janky, but the lights themselves work as they should. Any additional photo lighting or photography equipment will need to be brought with you to your session. Have questions about what to bring? Just ask! Important: Our windows in the space are very old and fragile, please do not open them. Kindly ensure that setup and cleanup are completed within your allotted booking time, as we may have another reservation immediately following yours. Additionally, please take care to return all furniture to its original placement and remove any trash or equipment before leaving. Security: For your security, there is a camera monitoring the entryway, building exterior, and main space. The cameras record in 10-second clips, which are automatically deleted after 24 hours. At the renter’s request, we can turn off the cameras in the main space prior to your rental. Just ask! Video Productions: Please note that the studio is in a shared building with a restaurant tap house below us, and our windows are not soundproof. You may hear street noise or background sounds during your session, so please plan accordingly. Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
