Big Delicious Planet is a hidden gem in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood, combining a chic industrial indoor space with a vibrant, sustainably maintained urban farm. The urban farm, located on three city lots next to our certified green catering kitchen, is a one-of-a-kind space. has hosted everything from film & photo shoots, corporate meetings and gatherings, intimate weddings and stylish dinner parties. Originally a factory building, the space was transformed in 2010 into the headquarters of our award-winning catering company. In 2012, we broke ground on the urban farm, which now features 80 raised beds, five beehives — right in the heart of the city. Nestled between artist lofts and unmarked warehouses, our space offers a creative, urban oasis that feels worlds away from downtown but is just minutes from the Loop. The space features a flexible layout with both indoor or outdoor areas available for use. The indoor space includes our former 900 square foot cafe with a long counter, a separate 450 square foot room with translucent sliding doors, and another 600 square foot section adjacent to our commercial kitchen. The front rooms include large windows, natural light, high ceilings. The farm space features a front paved patio with a pergola, a paved walkway, and another paved patio with a built in 24' table under a pergola. You could easily feel like you're in Napa Valley in our farm during our growing season.
