Welcome to your own full-floor creative playground. This listing gives you private access to both of our unique studios. No interruptions, just you and your crew. Whether you're shooting photos or video, recording a podcast, hosting a class or event, or creating something entirely your own, you've got the whole space to make it happen. You’ll find a mix of setups: seamless and textured backdrops, a decorative brick wall, a lifestyle set, a glam room, and beautiful natural light from both sides of the building. The design blends clean, modern elements with artistic character, giving you plenty of texture and variety to work with. The space comes fully equipped with gear and props too. We're right in Dupont Circle, surrounded by good coffee, great energy, and just steps from the metro. Equipment: The studio is fully stocked with equipment, so you can travel light! Free with all bookings: All pictured furniture and props, four C-stands, three rolling light stands, 86" seamless backdrops, three 5x7-foot textured backdrops, XLR cables, heavy duty extension cords, and a variety of grip accessories including clamps, gaff tape, sandbags and apple boxes. Continuous lights and lantern diffusers can also be reserved for free! Additional continuous and strobe lighting, modifiers, and other equipment are available for a flat fee — see the Add-Ons section for details. Seamless Backdrops: Currently we have 86" Savage seamless backdrops in super white, black, smoke gray, egg nog (beige), cocoa (light brown), chestnut (dark brown), crimson (dark red), coral (pink), orange, sky blue, tech green, and olive green. Textured Backdrops: The space includes three hand-painted textured canvas backdrops, each measuring 5 feet by 7 feet. A wall-mounted pole makes it easy to hang either our backdrops or your own. Sunlight: Beautiful natural light fills the studio throughout the day, pouring in from three west-facing windows in the front studio and two east-facing windows in the rear studio, providing direct sunlight in both the morning and afternoon. For total control, blackout curtains and shades can be closed to block out the light whenever needed. Props and Decor: Customize your scene with an eclectic mix of props and decor in a range of styles. Our design features mid-century elements combined with vintage accents for an inspiring bohemian feel. Stage the scene as a cozy apartment, home office, art gallery, or even a yoga studio. Staging Room: Adjacent to the studio is a versatile space that can be used as a makeup room, green room, or staging area, complete with clothing racks and makeup mirrors. A private bathroom is also included. Getting Here: Your booking includes a reserved parking space for up to two cars behind the building so parking is stress-free. Plus, we’re just one block from the Dupont Metro station for easy access. Package Assistance: Need to send supplies ahead of time? We can accept and store a package for you until your booking. Just reach out to coordinate, and we'll make sure everything’s ready when you arrive! Please note that the studio is accessible by stairs only. We do not have an elevator.
