Welcome to The Moto Loft, a vintage industrial loft in Chicago's West Lakeview neighborhood. With 20-foot wood-beamed ceilings, exposed brick, a large skylight, vintage motorcycles, and an eclectic collection of antiques, this character-filled space offers a unique setting for photo shoots, filming, content creation, and intimate gatherings.
THE SPACE
The loft combines original industrial architecture with a warm, lived-in atmosphere. Three oversized windows and a central skylight fill the space with natural light, while exposed brick, white gallery walls, and wooden beams provide a variety of textures and backdrops.
Unlike a traditional empty studio, The Moto Loft features several distinct settings within one open space.
Explore the vintage motorcycle display, complete with a wooden telephone booth and automotive memorabilia. Set up in the cozy lounge with its eclectic furniture and artwork, use the library and office nook for a classic vintage look, or gather around the large wooden dining table with mismatched antique chairs.
Throughout the loft, you'll find carefully collected antiques, old cameras, radios, books, and other unique details that give the space its character.

AMENITIES & ACCESS
The loft includes comfortable lounge seating, vintage dining furniture, Wi-Fi, a smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, air conditioning, and a fully functional kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, and sink.
A freight elevator is available for equipment and larger items. Three shared restrooms are located just outside the loft, and free street parking is available around the building.
The space accommodates up to 15 people, subject to the booking activity.
GOOD TO KNOW
The Moto Loft is a furnished, lived-in space rather than an empty studio. Most furniture can be rearranged to accommodate your setup, but the motorcycles, wall art, and vintage standing camera must remain in place.
Natural light is strongest from midday into the afternoon. Music is welcome at a reasonable volume, but loud parties are not permitted. Some normal building and city noise may be present.
The loft is available for hourly bookings, not overnight stays.
Two interior security cameras monitor the entrance and main loft area and record during bookings for property protection.
Have a particular shoot, gathering, or creative project in mind? Feel free to reach out through the booking platform with any questions about the space or your setup.
