The Dark Loft in Downtown Dallas offers 800 square feet of moody, cigar-bar inspired space designed for photographers, filmmakers, and content creators who want rich atmosphere and depth. With soaring 15-foot ceilings, vintage décor, and both natural lighting and warm moody lighting, the studio provides a bold and intimate setting for striking visuals. We have six motorized 9-foot wide seamless backdrops available. Colors are white, violet, red, burnt orange, olive green, and black. Distinctive features like a 6-foot wide wood slat wall and a hand-finished limewash wall bring texture and variety, perfect for fashion editorials, portrait work, music videos, boudoir sessions, or branded content that calls for a darker, more dramatic mood. Natural light filters through oversized windows, complemented by warm interior lighting that enhances shadows and adds dimension. The Dark Loft balances old-world sophistication with modern design, making it one of Dallas’ most unique rental studios for moody, atmospheric projects. ***CHRISTMAS TREE: There is an optional 9-foot pre-lit Christmas tree in the studio on wheels, making it easy to move into any configuration, or roll it out of the way entirely if you prefer not to use it.
