The space: We host art openings, receptions, ceremonies, and whatever your next special function might be. We've held intimate concerts, dinner parties, birthday parties, keynote speakers, artists talks, creative parties, food and beverage tastings, poetry readings, pop up markets/events, immersive experiences, alumni reunions, wedding ceremonies and receptions, photoshoots etc. We have a full kitchen, small front gallery (345 sq ft), larger middle gallery (630 sq ft), as well as a large outdoor covered area in front with benches (800 sq ft). The main gallery, kitchen, and smaller gallery are all within a quonset hut originally from the Bergstrom Air Force Base that closed in 1993. We provide four foldable tables, three plastic and one wooden. We have a total of 12 metal chairs. We recommend renting tables and chairs from a third party for larger events. Tables and chairs can be placed indoors in both gallery spaces and outside in the covered area. The neighborhood: Restaurants within walking distance include local favorites: Justine's, Kinda Tropical, De Nada, and Central Machine Works. Grocers in the neighborhood are HEB and Native Grocery. There is free street parking throughout the neighborhood and directly across the street from the gallery. Ride-share drop off is right in front of the gallery, the space is right off the bike path, and there is a city bus stop around the corner.
