About MPloss Studios
This urban industrial creative studio offers 537 sq. ft. of versatile space overlooking the Chicago River. It is best suited for Photography, Videography, Content Creation, Podcast Filming, and Small to Medium-scale Workshops/Creative Gatherings. Please note: the studio is not available for events.
The layout is designed with flexibility in mind. The sitting/changing area can be used for clients or guests to relax, and with privacy curtains closed, it functions as a dedicated changing space. The main shooting area can be used solely with natural light—best closest to the large east-facing windows—or with strobes and studio lighting. A 9 ft. wide paper backdrop system (available as an add-on) is set up in the middle section of the studio, offering a seamless background option. Additionally, there is a custom background structure (approx. 9' tall, 9' wide, and 4'5" deep) built from PVC, purposed for fabric or alternative material backdrops, also available as an add-on.
The space features large windows with views of the city and river, a mix of exposed brick walls, wooden beams, white walls, and hardwood floors, plus various seating options that can be incorporated into shoots. Unlike many studios, the space is not overly crowded with equipment, providing both clients and creatives the freedom to move around and truly capture their vision.
This studio provides a boutique experience—high-end feels at a budget-friendly rate—making it an inspiring setting for creators of all kinds.

I am a firm believer that wedding days should come with a photographer that takes stress off your plate rather than adding to it, that family and portrait sessions should be fun - not stressful, and that newborn sessions should be beautiful and safe! I promise you that you will only here me say “cheese” during your family’s session if your kids just asked me what my favorite food is. You also won’t see me get frustrated or impatient with your newborn who may not want to immediately settle for me. That’s so normal, and completely okay. If anything, it’s to be expected!

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
We clean before and after every booking to studio-grade standards. All included equipment (lights, stands, modifiers, grips, remotes, etc.) is thoroughly wiped with medical-grade disinfectant wipes and handled with gloves during cleaning. For ventilation, we keep the windows open while we clean, then treat the entire space with a disinfecting mist that kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, reaching high-touch and hard-to-reach areas. Floors are regularly mopped with a germicidal bleach solution, so you arrive to a spotless, shoot-ready environment every time.
Cancellation Policy
Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
