About Charming Large Home in Logan Square

Charming Home w/ Mid-Century Details History of the Space Built in 1890, this home is known as a "workers cottage" as it was built for a working class family during the height of the industrial revolution. Many of the homes details speak to the opulence of the Victorian period. Since then the home has been restored with beautiful details, mid-century modern furnishings, and rich textures that provide a depth of character easy to fall in love with. Neighborhood details Located in Logan Square the home is easy to access from the Armitage & Kedzie bus lines, as well by car from I-90. There are a ton of award winning coffee, food, and drink options in the immediate area, including a grocery store just down the block for those last minute needs. 606 trail and Humboldt Park are both just a few blocks away. Amenities and benefits * 3 total bedrooms, each with varying architectural elements. 2 are included, Primary is $30/hr extra. * Primary bedroom has deep walk-in closet for dramatic long and dolly shots. * Historic charm throughout the house feels livable and full of character. * This house is extra wide. The full 25 foot width of the lot. Most houses in the city are 20-21 feet wide. Every foot counts when shooting for depth. * Extra high ceilings on both floors. 9.5’ on the first floor and 9’ on the second. That is unusual in a historic home. Helpful for lighting and lifting stands out of frame. * The property is extra deep—177’ including the parking pad. Most lots are 125’.
