About The Plumas House

Welcome to one of the most unique event spaces in the Biggest Little City in the World. Right in the heart of Midtown and just walking distance to Downtown Reno sits, like a queen, our old stone walled Victorian house built in 1911. Recorded in the National Register of Historic Places, The Plumas House is decorated with period designs to encapsulate and preserve the old world feel and aesthetic. We deeply care about honoring the architecture, preserving the authenticity and maintaining the soul of the original home. There are three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, a living room, two dining rooms and an updated kitchen. If that isn't exciting enough, attached by a breezeway, is a 4,000 sqft. Music Hall equipped with a 20ft. stage that's just nipping at the bit to showcase a luminary. The stage has a full PA system, light trusses with lighting, fog machine, lasers and projections. The Hall has a balcony with a row of sliding glass doors that walk out to a deck overlooking the South lawn and gazebo. The same row of sliding glass doors is repeated on the ground level, all walking out to a covered patio and lawn. The Music Hall has three bathrooms, a kitchen and seating for a comfortable 100 guests. Loading dock in back provides easy access for truckloads, additional parking and RV hookups. A lovely, sun drenched lawn sprawls out between the Plumas House and the Music Hall on the South side of the lot. There is a vintage gazebo situated in the SW corner of the lawn that could be the perfect backdrop for a wedding alter. Fountains and string lighting give it that cozy charming ambiance we're always searching for. **Please excuse the pictures and take note that all bedrooms are finished. We've posted these iPhone pictures just to get the listing up however we will have a professional photo shoot very soon! Landscaping began last summer and will be finished in the Spring, therefore plants are sparse and small at the moment. Please feel free to schedule a viewing so that you may get a better idea of what it looks like** This listing of $500/hr is for only one space, either the Hall or the House. If you would like to rent the entire property, you will have to add on the other space in the Extra Services section of the listing. For the entire property the hourly is $1000/hr with a minimum of 6 hours.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
