This beautifully restored 1910 historic church is set in a rural, farm-zoned landscape at the foot of Mount Buffalo, just a short drive from the popular tourist town of Bright. The location offers a strong sense of place, surrounded by open countryside and seasonal beauty — from vibrant autumn colour and warm summer light to crisp winter days at the gateway to the Victorian Alps snowfields. The interior of the church features polished antique jarrah floorboards, a historic timber pulpit, and dimmable feature lighting, creating a warm and atmospheric space suitable for weddings, ceremonies, photo and film shoots, small events, workshops, and creative productions. The pews comfortably seat up to 63 guests and can be reconfigured or moved outdoors, allowing the interior to be adapted for different layouts or cleared for shoots and productions as needed. The church sits alongside the Great Alpine Road, which can mean some traffic noise during the day. In the evenings, the setting becomes very quiet, making it particularly well suited to ceremonies, reflective events, and shoots that benefit from a calmer atmosphere. Outside, the property includes vast, established gardens with multiple scenic backdrops and quiet corners, offering excellent opportunities for photography and outdoor moments before or after events. A standalone Dryflush feature toilet building is available for guest use. The space is thoroughly cleaned and prepared before each booking. High-touch surfaces are regularly wiped down, floors are swept and cleaned, and the toilet is serviced between uses. Rubbish is removed after each event, and the space is checked to ensure it is left clean and ready for the next guest. Guests are asked to leave the space as they found it and to remove any personal items at the conclusion of their booking.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
