This intimate speakeasy-style music salon is tucked beneath a historic redwood retreat and evokes the warmth and mystique of a 1920s listening room. Anchored by a beautifully maintained 1902 Steinway piano at its center, the space offers an acoustically rich, candle-low atmosphere ideal for live music, rehearsals, salons, listening sessions, creative meetings, and intimate gatherings. Originally built to house a horse and buggy, the room later became a vinyl listening space before evolving into its current role as a music and cultural salon. Vintage details, a built-in bar, and soft ambient lighting create a timeless, hidden-away feel that encourages presence, conversation, and artistry. The layout supports seated audiences, small ensembles, circle discussions, and focused creative work. The Steinway serves as the heart of the room, while surrounding areas can be arranged for chairs, low tables, or standing room depending on the event. Sound carries warmly and naturally, making the space especially well suited for acoustic or lightly amplified sessions, storytelling, filming, and reflective gatherings. Surrounded by redwoods and set within a quiet creative sanctuary, this room offers a rare blend of intimacy, history, and musical soul.

The Carriage Room is thoroughly cleaned and prepared before each booking. This includes sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, resetting furniture to its original layout, and inspecting the piano, audio equipment, and shared amenities to ensure everything is guest-ready. After each booking, the space is cleaned again to maintain a high standard for the next guest. We ask that guests leave the room in reasonably tidy condition, remove any personal items or brought-in materials, and place all furniture back where it was found. Any excessive mess, spills, or damage beyond normal use may result in additional cleaning or repair fees in accordance with Peerspace guidelines. Our goal is to provide a clean, welcoming, and well-cared-for space so every session begins with ease and respect for the room and its history.
