Fortitude Valley carries the stories of old Brisbane in its bones. Once a humble 19th-century working village, it has grown into a vibrant heart of commerce, culture and nightlife — yet the echoes of its past still linger between brick walls and narrow streets. Over more than a century, the Valley has transformed from residential cottages and industrial yards into the dynamic urban hub it is today. And within that transformation, Mingle in the Valley quietly finds its place. Tucked away behind the rush, hidden from the polished glass and towering skyscrapers, we sit beside a great old brick wall — weathered, rusty, imperfect. At first glance, it may seem worn by time. But look a little longer. There is beauty in its texture, in its history, in the stories it holds. In a world of steel and sky-high buildings, such raw character is rare. At Mingle in the Valley, we invite you to slow down. To remember that old does not mean wasted. That change is not always great. That history still has something to say. From our corner of the Valley, you can catch a glimpse of what Brisbane once looked like — honest, grounded, and beautifully imperfect. Come mingle with us, and let the past breathe again.

Health and Safety Measures

Before your event: The outdoor space is thoroughly swept and prepared, including tents, seating areas, and pathways. Any surfaces that guests will touch (tables, counters, handrails) are wiped down and sanitised. During your event: Trash bins are provided for guests to dispose of waste responsibly. Hosts are encouraged to keep the space tidy throughout the event. After your event: Our team ensures that all waste is collected and the space is returned to its original condition. Any leftover materials or rubbish from the event are cleared, and surfaces are wiped down if necessary. Facilities: Handwash stations and hygiene areas are provided and regularly checked to maintain cleanliness.

Cancellation Policy

Standard 30 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
