Theater Cleaning Process
1. Pre-Event Preparation
Sweep and vacuum all floors, including backstage, auditorium, and lobby areas.
Wipe down surfaces (handrails, door handles, podiums, counters).
Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized.
Check stage, props, and seating for dust, debris, or damage.
2. During Event / Intermission
Monitor trash and recycling bins; empty as needed.
Spot-clean spills on floors or seats immediately.
Keep bathrooms stocked and tidy throughout the event.
3. Post-Event Cleanup
Collect and dispose of all trash and recyclables.
Wipe down seats, stage, and common areas.
Vacuum or mop floors, including backstage and dressing rooms.
Sanitize high-touch areas (handrails, door handles, light switches).
Inspect the space for any damage or items left behind.
4. Weekly / Deep Cleaning (Recommended)
Shampoo carpets and rugs.
Deep-clean restrooms and backstage areas.
Dust and clean lighting, audio equipment, and props.
Inspect HVAC vents and air filters.
5. Safety & Supplies
Always wear gloves when handling cleaning chemicals.
Use approved cleaning products for surfaces, seats, and floors.
Keep a log of cleaning tasks completed.
