Rates and capacity vary based on event type. Meetings and Productions up to 50 attendees at $500/hourly, Events between 51-250 guests start at $1,000/hourly.
Located just minutes from McCormick Place, The Archive is a 24,000 sq ft event space atop 329 W 18th St. It features an open layout, floor-to-ceiling windows, and downtown skyline views. Owned and operated by Primitive, a Chicago institution known for its collection of cultural objects and design, the space is decorated with museum-grade objects and a gallery walkway for breakout and circulation. It accommodates seated dinners up to 150, receptions up to 250, and features a host of amenities to make planning and booking seamless.
Space must be booked at least 5 days prior to the event.

Health and Safety Measures
Standard post-event cleaning is included in your rental. A refundable cleaning deposit is required for all bookings. If the space is left in a condition requiring excessive cleaning, additional charges may be applied and deducted from the deposit.
Cancellation Policy
Standard 90 day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 14 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
