Built around a simple idea: most photo studios feel sterile, and most private cinemas are buried in basements. We wanted both. The result is a 66 m² industrial-styled studio in the heart of South Melbourne , polished concrete floors, white walls, tall exposed ceilings, and a built-in 200-inch laser-projected cinema with full 7.1 Dolby surround sound that comes alive after dark. The space transforms in three ways. Private cinema. A built-in 200-inch projection screen with BenQ laser projector and full 7.1 Dolby surround (two ceiling Atmos speakers, centre, two fronts, two rears, and subwoofer). Seats up to 30 theatre-style for film premieres, sports finals, gaming nights, fundraisers, or birthday screenings — or fold out the queen sofa bed for an unforgettable couples cinema experience. Stream your film via Netflix, Disney+, Prime, or connect via HDMI, USB, or AirPlay. Photo & video studio. Polished concrete floor, tall ceilings, white walls, and natural light from the studio-end window. Fully equipped with Godox strobes, large softboxes, paper backdrop system, full-length mirror, wardrobe rack, makeup station, and bar stools. Ideal for fashion editorials, model portfolios, lookbooks, e-commerce, and content creation. Workshop, presentation, or corporate venue. Use the projection screen and surround sound for presentations, panel discussions, product launches, training sessions, or team offsites. Hosts up to 30 theatre-style, 45–55 cocktail-style, 20–25 banquet, or 14–18 in classroom configuration. A separate office and kitchenette zone serves as a natural breakout area. The neighbourhood. The studio sits two minutes' walk from Coventry Street's cafés and restaurants and the iconic South Melbourne Market (open Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays). Albert Park Lake and the Royal Botanic Gardens are a short drive away, and the Melbourne CBD is 10 minutes by tram. An ideal location for guests travelling from the city, southside suburbs, or the bayside. Included with every booking: fast Wi-Fi, tea and coffee station, kettle, fridge, glasses, sofa, lounge area, office desk, full AV system (200" screen, BenQ laser projector, 7.1 Dolby surround), photo lighting kit, paper backdrops, wardrobe rack, air conditioning, and heating. Practicalities: lift access to Level 3, one dedicated on-site car park, free metered street parking after hours, trams 12 (York/Clarendon) and 96 (City Rd / Light Rail) within 3 minutes' walk. Available 7 days a week by arrangement. Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

Between every booking the studio is cleaned and high-touch surfaces, door handles, AV remotes, light switches and kitchenette are wiped down with disinfectant. Soft furnishings are vacuumed, the kitchenette is sanitised, and bin liners are replaced. A basket of disinfecting wipes, hand sanitiser, disposable masks and gloves is kept on the kitchenette counter for guests who'd like to use them. The space is ventilated via ducted air conditioning, with bookings spaced apart to allow proper turnover between guests.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
