About The Cutting Room Studios
Control Room 1 is the premier mixing and recording room at our Chelsea facility. Featuring a 32 Channel Solid State Logic Origin Console, this room is ideal for podcast, voiceover & multitrack recording.
Main monitors are Genelec 1234A with matching Genelec 7382A 3x 15” Subwoofer. Near field monitors include Yamaha NS10s & Genelec 8030Cs.
The spacious adjoining live room has tall 16’ ceilings with wall to wall acoustic diffusion creating the perfect lively ambiance. The room features a Yamaha C6 grand piano, as well as an original Hammond B3 Organ and Rhodes & Wurlitzer keyboards. Our Noble & Cooley drum kit is ready at a moment’s notice, and you can find a wide selection of guitars and amps to choose from. All room rooms are equipped with Philips Hue lighting to get the color and vibe just right.
Large shared lobby with ample seating, featuring kitchen with microwave, air fryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, etc. Bottled water, coffee & tea are included.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
All bookings are spaced several hours apart to allow for deep cleaning. High touch surfaces including recording equipment, microphones, pop filters, etc are disinfected at the end of each booking. Common spaces such as lobby & bathrooms are cleaned regularly throughout the day, as well as before and after each booking.
Cancellation Policy
Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
