Dockside Lounge is a private waterfront filming and photography location in Marina del Rey, ideal for commercial photo shoots, lifestyle campaigns, interviews, social media content, brand launches, lookbooks, podcasts, small film productions, and creative projects. Located directly on the harbor, the space combines a stylish indoor lounge with a private waterfront deck, offering multiple filming environments in one location. The interior features a modern coastal aesthetic with a full-size billiards table, built-in bar, comfortable lounge seating, large windows overlooking the marina, and abundant natural light throughout the day. Just outside, the private deck provides unobstructed harbor views, docked yachts, passing boats, and beautiful sunset lighting, creating an authentic Southern California waterfront backdrop. The space offers a variety of looks within a compact footprint, making it easy to capture multiple scenes without changing locations. Popular aesthetics include coastal modern, upscale lounge, waterfront lifestyle, hospitality, and nautical-inspired content. Production Features • Large waterfront windows with abundant natural daylight • West-facing deck for afternoon light and golden hour shoots • Indoor lounge, bar area, and outdoor deck for multiple shooting environments • Ground-level, step-free access for convenient equipment load-in • Large adjacent public parking lot for cast, crew, and production vehicles • WiFi, numerous power outlets, small refrigerator, and semi-private restroom access Audio Information As an active waterfront destination, natural ambient sounds may be present, including boats, seagulls, sea lions, and pedestrian activity from the harbor walkway. While suitable for many productions, the space is not soundproof and may not be ideal for projects requiring complete audio isolation. Ambient noise generally decreases during evening hours. Property Access & Filming Guidelines Exclusive Use: Your reservation includes exclusive access to the indoor lounge and private waterfront deck only. Adjacent Building: The hallways and shared areas of the connected building are not part of the rental. Filming, photography, equipment staging, talent holding, catering setup, and crew gathering must remain within the rented space at all times. Boardwalk & Public Areas: The waterfront boardwalk directly in front of the venue is public property and is not included with your rental. We cannot authorize filming or photography in these public areas. Productions wishing to film on the boardwalk or other surrounding public spaces are responsible for obtaining any required permits through FilmLA or the appropriate permitting authority prior to their shoot. The venue accommodates productions of up to 45 people and is well suited for small to mid-sized crews seeking an authentic waterfront setting with excellent natural light, easy logistics, and versatile filming opportunities. Health and Safety Measures

The space is thoroughly cleaned and inspected before each booking. All high-touch surfaces, tables, seating areas, countertops, and commonly used amenities are sanitized between events. Floors are cleaned, trash is removed, and the space is reset to ensure it is guest-ready upon arrival. We take pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for every event.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
