A pre-lit green screen studio in the Historic Core, run by a working cinematographer. The green screen is already up and already lit, evenly and separated from your subject lighting, so you walk in and shoot instead of spending the first two hours fighting spill and hot spots.
252 sq ft, 12'10" wide by 19'8" deep, with a 9'10" ceiling.
Already up when you walk in:
- Pre-lit green screen, ready to key
- White seamless, also pre-lit
- Ceiling grid with three softboxes, a china ball and a parabolic umbrella, all mounted overhead so nothing eats floor space
- Wall rail with ten seamless paper colors
- Two windows with strong daylight, and blackout drapes to kill it completely
- Hair and makeup station with a lit mirror, wardrobe rack and steamer, and a private changing tent with no cameras
- Grip on hand: C-stands, sandbags, flags, apple boxes, clamps, reflectors, shoot cart and ladder
Polished concrete floor and white walls. The shooting wall takes one 107 inch seamless with margin, which makes this a room for interviews, portraits, headshots, product, apparel, podcast and talking-head video with small crews. It is not the room for parties, classes or large events.
Extras: gear rental is our main business and the inventory lives in the building. Lighting kits, RGB panels, wireless lavs with recorder, a motorized product turntable, video village monitors, and a teleprompter package with or without an operator. More than 500 rentals behind us with a 100 percent positive record. Ask and we add what you need to the booking, no second pickup across town.
Getting in: 24-hour access and 24-hour security, freight elevator plus four passenger elevators, bathrooms on the floor. You are directly above The Last Bookstore and across from Spring Street Park, so the exteriors on your doorstep are Historic Core landmarks.
