Multi-Level Ocean-View Decks & Mid-Century Modern House

A mid-century modern hillside home in North Pacific Beach with ocean, bay and city views, two outdoor decks, and a living room that opens onto the main deck through a retractable glass wall. Approximately 2,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor space provides several distinct settings for lifestyle and brand photography, fashion shoots, product content, cooking scenes and small video productions. THE SPACES • Upper deck: An open wooden deck with glass railings and coastal views, directly connected to the living room. Ideal for portraits, lifestyle scenes and indoor-outdoor compositions. • Lower deck: A separate setting beneath a mature pine tree, with string lights, a fire pit and a different perspective over the neighborhood and coastline. Wooden stairs connect the two decks. • Living room: Exposed wood ceilings, mid-century furnishings, a usable fireplace and a fully opening glass wall. Adjustable LED accent lighting offers additional looks for evening shoots. • Kitchen: Stone counters, wood cabinetry and stainless-steel appliances. The kitchen, stove and oven are available for cooking and food-related shoots. INCLUDED IN YOUR BOOKING Both decks, the living room, kitchen, one restroom and a separate lounge that can close off for private changing or staging. Available furniture, interior LED lighting, the fireplace and outdoor fire pit are included. Please coordinate fireplace or fire-pit use with the host. Bedrooms are not included. PRODUCTION DETAILS • Two driveway parking spaces, with additional unmetered street parking subject to availability. • Main-deck access via an approximately three-foot-wide walkway. Wheeled equipment should be able to use this route; please confirm dimensions with us for oversized cases or equipment. • Stairs are required to reach the lower deck. • The host remains on-site to assist with access and questions. • Resident dogs are kept away from booking areas and can be moved off-site by prior arrangement. LIGHT AND SOUND Natural light, coastal views and tree cover create different looks throughout the day. Late afternoon and sunset offer warm outdoor light. There are no blackout curtains. This is a residential location and is not soundproof. Outdoor recordings may pick up wind, aircraft or neighborhood sounds. Let us know if your production requires quiet dialogue recording.
