Our venue spans 2,200 square feet of thoughtfully curated space in Berkeley, designed so that one room never has to do everything. The main floor is the heart of the club, with 24 tables set out for players, a library of more than 1,200 games within easy reach, and vaulted ceilings and lush plants hanging from above. Every corner, you turn, you'll find vibrant wallpaper and beautiful finishes. The back of the venue opens into a Record Room, a 750-square-foot private room (speakeasy) with its own character: a record player, a 500-vinyl collection, and seating for 20 that can be arranged for a long dinner, a series of game tables, or a celebration.
Moving between the two spaces is part of the experience. Guests start in the open club, then step into a hallway adorned with decorative lamps hanging from the ceiling, and into to the Record Room when the group wants privacy and a different mood. Because the two areas are designed to work together, a private event can feel like its own world without losing the connection to the club around it.
The layout is meant to be used flexibly. Tables can be grouped for a team workshop, spread out for a casual game night, or cleared for a larger celebration. Each zone has a clear purpose, and the whole footprint is organized so that groups of different sizes, from a small table of friends to a full corporate team, can all find the right amount of room.
The venue has a retail shop as well, so guests who fall in love with a game can take one home. That small touch rounds out the experience: a place to play, a place to gather, and a place to find the next favorite.
